Every Saturday at 8:30am for 60 minutes at Unitarian Universalist Congregration of Grand Traverse in Traverse City, Michigan.
Join us for a gentle, slow practice that is perfect for beginners and long term practitioners alike. You will be led through deep breathing, stretching and moving your body to increase mobility and flexibility. The class ends in savasana, several minutes of stillness absorbing all the benefits of your practice. You will leave with a more calm and peaceful mind.
Please bring your own mat, yoga block or strap (could use an old tie or a scarf), a blanket if you’d like extra support for your knees or to get cozy in savasana. There will be a few mats available if you’d like to come for the first time and try it out!
Slow BURN yoga
Every Tuesday at 6pm for 60 minutes at Yen Yoga & Fitness in Traverse City, Michigan.
Slow Burn Slow Burn is a slower-paced flow practice that helps build strength, stamina and flexibility by holding standing and core postures.
YIN yoga
Every Tuesday at 7:15pm for 60 minutes at Yen Yoga & Fitness in Traverse City, Michigan.
Warm Yin Yoga Warm Yin Yoga targets the myofascial tissue through longer holds and deep breathing. Props like blocks, straps and blankets will be provided to foster a genuinely restorative experience.
